JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Agent Supervisor to join our team at FruitCity .
The Field Agent Supervisor will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of field agents to ensure the successful implementation of our agricultural programs.
In this role, you will oversee the training and development of field agents, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to provide effective support to our farmers. You will also work closely with our program managers to ensure that field agents are following program protocols and meeting program goals.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a degree in agriculture or a related field, and a minimum of five years of experience in a supervisory role in the agricultural sector. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills, strong leadership skills, and a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise a team of field agents, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure that they are meeting performance targets and delivering high-quality work.
• Develop and implement training programs to ensure that field agents have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their roles effectively and efficiently.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and mentoring to help field agents improve their performance and meet their targets.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve field agent productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness, and ensure that these strategies align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Manage the scheduling and deployment of field agents to ensure that they are deployed to the right locations at the right times, and that their workload is balanced and manageable.
• Ensure that field agents are following all company policies and procedures, as well as any relevant legal or regulatory requirements.
• Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that field agents are delivering the level of service that is expected.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

• Maintain accurate records of field agent activities, including work completed, hours worked, and any issues or incidents that arise.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as agricultural science, environmental science, or natural resources management.
At least 5 years of experience working in a related field, with experience in supervising teams of field agents or other field-based personnel.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, field agents, community organizations, and government agencies.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams of field agents and drive them to achieve their targets and goals.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions to address them.
• In-depth knowledge of agricultural production systems, including crop management, pest and disease management, and irrigation systems.
Understanding of environmental regulations and best practices related to agricultural production, including soil conservation, water quality, and wildlife habitat management.
• Knowledge of GIS mapping and other spatial analysis tools.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, database management, and other relevant software programs.
Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.

WORK REQUIREMENTS:
• You will be working primarily outdoors, in various field locations, and exposed to different weather conditions..
• You will be required to travel frequently to different sites to supervise field agents and ensure that work is being completed effectively and efficiently.
• You will be working closely with a team of field agents and other staff members, as well as with clients and other stakeholders, to deliver high-quality services and achieve project goals.
• You will be required to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate the schedules of field agents and clients, and to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• You will be expected to maintain accurate records of your work activities and to provide regular reports on the progress of field agent activities and projects.
• You will be required to work independently, with minimal supervision, and to make quick and effective decisions to address unexpected situations or issues that arise in the field..
