JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Associate to join our marketing team. The Social Media Associate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that engage our target audience, promote our brand, and drive business growth.
In this role, you will work closely with our marketing team to create and curate content for our social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others. You will be responsible for planning and scheduling social media posts, analyzing and reporting on social media metrics, and developing social media AND email marketing campaigns to support product launches, events, and promotions.
The ideal candidate for this position should have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of social media platforms, and experience in content creation and curation. Additionally, you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Inputting data from various sources into a computer database system
• Ensuring accuracy and completeness of data input
• Verifying and editing data to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Creating and maintaining spreadsheets, databases, and other documentation as needed
• Performing data searches and retrievals as required
• Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintaining confidentiality and security of data
• Meeting deadlines and ensuring timely completion of tasks
• Responding to data requests from other team members as needed
• Performing other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field desirable but not neccessary
• 1-2 years of experience in social media marketing or a related field.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
• Experience in content creation and curation, including designing graphics and selecting images and videos that are on-brand and engaging.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze and report on social media metrics and use data to inform social media strategy.
• Passion for social media and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing.
• Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Buffer.
• Previous social media management experience, especially experience with media buying and ad management for search and social platforms will be a strong advantage
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• This is an office-based role that requires advanced computer proficiency for either PC or Mac as well as farmiliarity with design software tools.
• You may need to work on multiple projects at once, so the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively is especially crucial. You will also be required to work under tight deadlines, so the ability to work well under pressure is important..
This role may involve occasional fieldwork to meet and interview with customers and / or various end users, or attend industry-related conferences or events.
It will also involve attending meetings or presenting design concepts to various partners and stakeholders, so strong communication and presentation skills are an absolute must.
• You will also be called upon to participate in brainstorming sessions and ideation workshops, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop strategic solutions to design-related business challenges from time to time.
